Help us collect food for our annual food drive throughout Ken Caryl Valley! Thank you so much to our community for making this such a successful event every year!
A Scout is helpful. A Scout cares about other people and willingly volunteers to help others without expecting payment or reward. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 1 in 9 Americans suffer from food insecurity each year. This equates to over 37 million American and more than 11 million children. Food insecurity impacts every community in the United States. SCOUTING FOR FOOD is an annual food drive sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America. It is part of our program that emphasizes our slogan “Do a Good Turn Daily”. Since 1988, Scouts nationwide have participated in this effort. Collected food benefits food pantries throughout Colorado. Our Council’s annual Scouting for Food drive is held the first week of November.
Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 742, in Ken Caryl, Colorado. We serve the children of the Ken Caryl Valley and surrounding areas and we are chartered by Bradford K8 PTA. Our Dens include boys and girls from Kindergarten to 5th Grade.
